Sevda Zaynali
Co-Founder and Co-President
Currently pursuing her studies in Engineering at Carleton University, Sevda has always been passionate about promoting Azerbaijani traditions and connecting youth that live away from their motherland. After founding the first AzSA in Ottawa in 2022, she decided that a unifying organization to make the process of spreading our culture would be essential, and decided to pursue the demanding challenge with a team that she admires.
Konul Rzayeva
Co-Founder and Co-President
An alumna of the University of Ottawa, and a practicing Psychotherapist. Konul is dedicated to building a vibrant community for Azerbaijani students in Canada. Along with her co-president, she tirelessly works to provide resources to Azerbaijani-Canadian students across Canada. She works to support initiatives that celebrate Azerbaijani culture from coast-to-coast.
Sevil Zaynali
Co-Founder and Vice President
As an International Management student at the University of Ottawa, Sevil plays a crucial role in supporting AzSA Canada's initiatives. She actively participates in networking and communication between AzSA platforms across Canada, and has been an integral part of the founding of this organization. Her funding outreach has aided in providing financial support for this not-for-profit organization.
